Tue Volder is a Danish graffiti artist and illustrator, whose art is characterized by humanlike monkeys full of personality and humor. They are made in thick black ink, water colors or simply as colorful paintings. He uses the monkeys as a fantastical caricature of ourselves with their big ears and silly expressions. They are able to dot a hole in an explanatory type or make something cool even newer and freer. At the same time, they represent what we will not admit about ourselves and what we want to be.
