The French artist Matthieu Koga, known as Kogaone, originates from Metz. He explores human’s contradictory natures by distorting highly detailed portraits and thereby creating disturbing images of fragmented life, often with a dry sense of humor. Yet, a certain beautiful imperfection emerges from these vividly colored murals, suggesting a different and brighter meaning entirely – of finding grace in human’s flawed nature and accepting it.
